Modern facilities for functions of any occasion

The HumeRidge Church of Christ is a truly multi-purpose facility incorporating a variety of areas. It comprises a large auditorium with seating for up to 1500 catering for hire groups of up to 1100 persons, a smaller auditorium with 340 seats, an indoor sports court with an adjacent hall, a catering hall able to stand around 400 or seat around 200 people, an indoor main foyer cafe style area (Chats cafe foyer) with outdoor portico/ alfresco, large and small meeting rooms and also indoor and outdoor play areas.

The air-conditioned main auditorium has a full size stage area with quality sound, video and lighting systems. This auditorium is used for many purposes including worship, conferences, presentations, award graduations, performances, movies and concerts. The smaller auditorium (Chapel room) is a more intimate space for the same type of uses but on a smaller scale. The Chapel is also popular for weddings, funerals and memorials. There are also meeting rooms of different sizes and layouts, with varying equipment like chairs, meeting tables, mini  kitchenettes, big screen TV's and whiteboards for groups of up to 50. Larger groups often use our catering hall for meetings.

A well equipped commercial kitchen is available beside the catering hall, which is off the second portico entry at the north end of the building. Alternatively Chats Cafe foyer is designed for casual meetings or celebrations over coffee and finger food. Chats has cafe seating for 100 with standing room for  hundreds more and is located between the two auditoriums. For larger groups we provide the hot drink solutions and you provide the rest. You may request an all inclusive package where we use local caterers familiar with our venue.

Schools, sporting groups & others make use of the indoor sports court, which is ideal for Basketball, indoor Soccer, and many other soft floor sports. The adjacent hall (Youth Hall) is suitable for meetings, games, movies, and activities of most kinds. Often groups also request our extensive grassed outdoor areas to complement their indoor activity.

All this is within easy access from our large private sealed carpark. Wet weather drop off through the roofed portico is available for guests using the auditoriums or Chats cafe foyer. The carpark is fully lit and is user friendly also catering for the mobility or visually impaired. We are conveniently located in Toowoomba. You will find us next door to The Ridge Shopping Centre, up the road from Aldi and at the back of the Toowoomba Plaza complex. Popular food takeaways, formal dining and various styles of accommodation are just around the corner. The city centre is just 5 minutes away.
